Reviews for Kensington Western Restaurant
Review highlights
Based on 481 reviewsKensington Western Restaurant in Seremban is widely appreciated for its clean, family-friendly environment and thoughtful presentation of dishes. Visitors frequently praise the variety of Western-style options, with particular mentions of flavorful grilled chicken and well-executed fish dishes. While the pricing is generally considered reasonable, some diners find it slightly on the higher side compared to local alternatives. Service is described as adequate, though some note that staff may not all be locally based. The restaurant’s ambience, combined with consistent food quality and a diverse menu, makes it a favored spot for family dinners and casual outings, despite minor areas for improvement in certain dish flavors.
Highly recommended. It's a pork free western restaurant but not sure if it's a Halal Restaurant. The prices, I think it's a bit on the high side but still acceptable. The food taste good. . They have lots of varieties of dishes and drinks. We ordered Mozzarella Cheese Grilled Chicken with Mushroom (RM25.95), Sizzling Grilled Chicken with Ham & Cheese (RM25.95) and Roasted Duck Roll with Honey Lemon Sauce (RM36.30) , Hot Honey Lemon (RM6.60) and Watermelon Juice (RM11.10). We definitely visit again.
The Dory Fish Fillet With Creamy Caper Sauce (RM25 only) was a meal that was close to perfection. Everything on the meal was thoughtfully done. Even the corn wasn't ordinary. It's the milky corn. It's juicy and sweet. And of course the main part, the fillet with the sauce was just delightfully delicious. Service and environment were great. Nice place to have dinner whether with family or with a date. Only complaint is the iced lemon tea. It tasted like sugary flavored drink.
The food is good. Price reasonable. Some are a bit on high side. Environment is good. Service is okay - many are not local. Yes, I will be back.
Visited here for a family dinner. The restaurant is clean, and the serving pace is considered fast. We ordered a few dishes to try, and the taste was okay. I like the mushroom soup here as it has a rich mushroom taste, and the price for the mushroom soup is fair. However, the taste of the carrot cake can be improved
Personally speaking, there is a Kensington market in Toronto, ON, Canada, so its name drawed my attention. It took 10 minutes from my hotel to this restaurant by car. The first impression of this restaurant was clean, feeling comfortable, family friendly atmosphere and well maintained with trees and flowers. For its menu, the beef stake seems somewhat expensive compared to the others in Seremban. So I had a chicken stake and a glass of iced coffee there, it satisfied me not only taste but also visually. For your information, it does not provide a draft beer but it has canned beer. You can see a white plate on every table with a knife stuck between the forks. It was somewhat unfamiliar to me. In terms of speed it is efficient but I think it is not a good arrangement. Overall, likewise many people think that it is a good place to enjoy western foods. I recommend. I will visit again.
Food Good variety of western food available on menu - selection of chicken, beef, lamb and seafood. Generous portion and taste is fair. Mushroom cream soup is nice. Chicken casserole and mutton were tender. Service Fast. Can improve on their knowledge of the menu and interaction with patrons. Atmosphere Traditional in a nice way. Beautiful flowers, cloth table cloths and calm music. Air-conditioning not very cold, but many fans to cool the environment.
